Tower The draft beer tower is a key component in your beer system.  It is the last stop for the beer before it is poured into the glass for the customer.  It is important that the towers not only function well, but also look good because it is the component that your customers will be looking at while they sit at your bar.

Blender Gas blenders are important to get the right mixture of nitrogen and CO2.  Ales and lagers require a different mixture of the two gases than stouts such as Guiness.  They are also important if you wish to sell high volumes of beer because beers that are on straight CO2 will fill your customers up much quicker than beers that run on blended gas.
Foam Detector Foam detectors are installed inside your cooler between your kegs and your beer lines.  These money savers have a float that drops to the bottom when your kegs run out of beer which creates a seal and prevents the foam that is left in the keg from entering the beer system.  This means less wasted beer from a freshly tapped keg.
Regulator Regulators are used for two applications in beer systems.  First, they are attached to the bottles of gas to reduce the high pressure in the bottle to a pressure that is right for your beer system.  Second, they are installed in the cooler to reduce the pressure to each keg that you have online to prevent the beer from falling apart in your beer lines or over-carbonating your kegs.

Beer Trunk Beer lines that run from your cooler to your tower are put together a certain way for a couple of reasons.  First, there are beer lines and glycol lines inside the trunk.  The glycol lines have cold liquid glycol circulating through them to keep the beer cold from the cooler to the tower.  It is important that all beer lines are touching glycol lines inside the trunk.  Second, proper insulation keeps the cold trapped inside the trunk to prevent hot spots in your beer system.

Power Pack The glycol unit or power pack is the key to a properly functioning beer system.  Power packs are the refrigeration unit where liquid glycol is cooled down to the right temperature and then pumped through the glycol lines in the beer trunk to ensure that cold beer comes out of the faucet of the beer tower for your customers.
